interested in being an exhibitor and/or a sponsor?
Don't miss out on this opportunity to speak with more than 70 school districts in Southwest Montana! The Tech Summit is where superintendents, administrators, IT directors, and teachers come to get big picture ideas, learn about the latest gadgets, and make technology decisions for their districts. Our focus this year is bringing together IT staff, administrators, and teachers for two days of effective collaboration.
Your participation can range from a booth in the vendor exhibit area to different levels of event sponsorship. There is also an option to present, however, that is limited to 5 vendors. Booths and sponsorships fill up fast, so complete your application today!
100 attendees last year, and we anticipate more this year
This year's Tech Summit planning began with a focus group comprised of teachers, administrators, IT staff, and a local technology vendor, in order to determine what will draw all of these parties to the summit (i.e. more purchasers & decision-makers)
Tech guru and advocate for tech accessibility for people with disabilities Estin Talavera, will be our keynote speaker. We will also have a keynote from Ms. Montana Lauren Scofield on the importance of getting girls involved with STEM. Both will also participate in break out panels, including a panel on diversity in technology. Another conference feature will be our panel discussion with teacher, IT, and administrative perspectives discussing how to break down barriers to technology integration. These features make this a very unique event and will draw all stakeholders to the event.
Ample time to visit with vendors has been built into the schedule including: one hour windows for check-in/continental breakfast each morning, longer breaks between sessions, and the vendor area is where meals and snacks will be served, making it the hub of the event
This year's summit will include a vendor interaction game, increasing your face time with attendees
SWMSS offers sponsorship opportunities, including the option to present during our vendor demo sessions, in order to stretch your marketing dollars and provide for more visibility
Technology has been identified by our member schools as a top priority for needed services
